Historic Equestrian Building Survey HEBS

The aim of HEBS is to increase the understanding of the role horses played in the history of Nottinghamshire through study and exploration of equestrian built heritage, such as historic stables, carriage house and cart sheds. The project lead Janine Buckley MA (an award winning specialist in research of historic stables) is leading a team of dedicated volunteer surveyors and researchers to investigate the equestrian buildngs of Nottinghamshire.  The result of the survey are hosted by the NBPT and the survey is being undertaken by Nottnghamshire County Council in partnership with the Minor2Major Landscape Partnership Scheme.
