Welcome to the New Look Nottinghamshire Building Preservation Trust Web Site. After several months of effort we have finally made our new look web site live.
For the more technically inclined – the site now runs on WordPress. WordPress is an open source content management system. It is in use on millions of web sites around the world. We have used a few free plugins to manage the photo galleries and to display slideshows and pictures on the site.
For the less technically inclined – all you really need to know is that anyone with a user id and password can update, modify and maintain the site from any PC with a browser and internet connection. No technical skills are required – if you can use a word processor you can add and update content on the site.
